HP Celebrates Diverse Perspectives at ELLE Women in Hollywood, VOGUE Forces of Fashion Events

October 23, 2018

Celebrating women leading, creating and building a transformative future is core to HP’s strategic vision and this month, HP celebrated diverse perspectives at two of the most impactful events in entertainment and fashion: ELLE Women in Hollywood in California and VOGUE Forces of Fashion in New York.

ELLE Women in Hollywood

HP joined ELLE Magazine at its 25th annual Women in Hollywood event in Beverly Hills. This star-studded event introduced Sprocket and the joy of print to some of more than 250 A-list celebrities, including Lady Gaga, Catherine Hardwick, Martin Sheen, Laverne Cox, and industry VIPs including, Shonda Rimes and Kathleen Kennedy. Hearst Chief Marketing Officer Michael Clinton and and ELLE Magazine publisher Kevin O’Malley also attended.

“You mean, I can press print here on my phone, and it’ll print at home?” O’Malley remarked. “I love Tango! This just keeps getting better!”

Anneliese Olson, Global Head and General Manager, Home Printing Solutions for HP represented the company at ELLE – using the opportunity to bring the power of print to some of the most impactful personas in media.

“Recognizing the accomplishments of this year’s honorees while capturing those memories was an extraordinary opportunity for HP,” Olson said. “Putting print alongside movers and shakers throughout the entertainment and fashion industries is essential to continuing our print reinvention journey — while also timely and inspiring.”

HP captured the best cultural moments of the evening and surprised and delighted event attendees with printed mementos using the new HP Sprocket 2nd Edition. HP also personalized Sprocket for the event’s VIP gift boxes for Shonda Rhimes, Sarah Paulson, the Female cast of Black Panther including Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong’o and many others.

VOGUE Forces of Fashion

In New York, HP was featured as the premiere technology and print experience partner at the second annual VOGUE Forces of Fashion conference. The theme of the evening was Forces of Change and featured compelling, disruptive figures in the industry, including Annie Leibovitz, Kris Jenner, Pierpaolo Piccioli of Valentino, Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy and Lara and Kate Mulleavy of Rodarte. HP was proud to support VOGUE in recognizing the women’s amazing accomplishments.
